2008 Macaroni and Cheese Recipe Contest: Rules & Qualifying Details

Submissions must include name, address, phone number and email address, if one is available, along with the recipe.
Deadlines vary for Macaroni and Cheese recipe submissions depending on mailed or online submissions. Any submissions received after the posted date will be disqualified.
This contest is open to all amateur cooking enthusiasts.
Three entries per person will be accepted.
In the event that an entrant is unable to participate in the cook-off, his or her place will be given to the next highest scoring entrant.
Finalists will receive an all-travel-expenses-paid trip to the grand finale cook-off.
All decisions are final and scores from judging will not be made public.
All Macaroni and Cheese recipes must serve eight people and contain some type of pasta, while maintaining the traditional macaroni and cheese style, and at least one type of Tillamook® cheese. Tillamook cheese must be the primary cheese used in the entry. For information about where Tillamook cheese is sold, please click here. The pasta choice is completely up to the entrant. Mac and Cheese recipes may include any pasta style, flavor or freshness (fresh versus dry).
Recipes may be made entirely from scratch or make use of pre-packaged products. (This does not include boxed macaroni and cheese)
Recipes in cookbooks may be used for inspiration, but any recipes found to be duplicated will be disqualified.
Tillamook cheese and participating restaurants are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, misdirected or postage-due entries, or for technical, hardware, software or communication malfunctions of any kind, which may limit the ability to participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this promotion.
All entries and submitted materials, and any copyrights therein, including recipes and photographs, become the sole property of Tillamook Cheese and each participating restaurant and will not be returned. By entering, each entrant warrants and represents that his/her recipe has never been published, and grants Tillamook Cheese and each participating restaurant the right to edit, publish, promote and otherwise use the recipe without further permission, notice or compensation.
This contest is subject to all applicable state, federal and local regulations. Void where prohibited by law.
Tillamook Cheese and each participating restaurant reserves the right to cancel this contest without notice.
All state, federal and local taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
By submitting a recipe, contestants agree that Tillamook Cheese, its employees and their families; each regional participating restaurant, its employees and their families; judges, vendors, participants or volunteers, and the employees or families associated with those organizations shall have no liability in connection with acceptance or use of prizes awarded.
