Grand Finale Event Details

This year’s Tillamook Macaroni & Cheese Recipe Contest Grand Finale event will be hosted by Kells Irish Restaurant with partner Widmer Brewing in Portland, Oregon on Thursday, October 23. The six named finalists will compete, preparing their macaroni and cheese recipes from scratch in front of a live audience.

Tillamook Cheese is proud to present celebrity chef and Bravo television network’s Top Chef winner Ilan Hall as the emcee of this year’s cook-off. In addition to Ilan, celebrities and culinary experts will judge the dishes to declare a grand finale winner. The “Big Cheese” will receive a $5,000 cash prize, 25 pounds of Tillamook cheese and endless bragging rights.

The Grand Finale event is free and open to the public. There is limited space and we will have a guest list at the entrance. If you are planning to attend, please RSVP by e-mailing your name and the number of people in your party to macandcheese@macaroniandcheeseandcheese.com.

Prizes:

The Grand prize winner will receive $5,000 cash, 25 pounds of Tillamook® cheese and other various prizes.

First runner-up will receive $2,000 cash, 20 pounds of Tillamook® cheese and various other prizes.

Second runner-up will receive $1,000 cash, 15 pounds of Tillamook® cheese and various other prizes.

People's Choice winner will receive $2,500 cash, 25 pounds of Tillamook® cheese and various other prizes.

Recipes may be featured on the web site and possibly on product packaging.
